I love working with animals as much as people and Reiki is just as beneficial to them as us. Animals are very sensitive to energy, so not only is Reiki healing for them it can also serve to strengthen our relationships with them. This is because the animals we live with absorb a lot of our own energy and when the energy between us is in harmony, it can deepen an already meaningful connection. If we are stressed or anxious however, this nervous energy can transfer to our animals. To counteract this, it is sometimes beneficial to work with both the owner and the animal to maximise the healing benefits of Reiki.

Animal Reiki is also purposeful approaching and during end of life care, as it will help a beloved pet physically, emotionally and spiritually to have a peaceful transition.

While my principal focus with animal Reiki is on dogs, I am happy to consider treating other animals too.

In all cases, it is important to understand that any known or suspected health issues should always be diagnosed by a veterinarian before receiving Reiki, as Reiki practitioners never offer diagnoses or advice.

Please note that treatment of any animal is dependent upon individual temperament. I reserve the right to refuse treatment upon any sign of aggression or discomfort at my sole discretion.
